Dr. Nesen graduated from the Kiev Medical Institute with honors in 1988. Dr. Nesen has over 32 years of diverse experience and specializes in Pain Management, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine.
Craig Shalmi, MD
In 1989, Dr. Shalmi completed his internship in surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine and went on to Harvard University School of Medicine to complete his residency in anesthesia and critical care. He became interested in pain management during his residency which became his focus during the latter portion of his training. Dr. Shalmi remained at Harvard for fellowship training in Pain Management which he completed in 1997. Dr. Shalmi is board certified in Anesthesia and Pain Management. He attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and graduated with distinction for research in Oncology. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Union College and he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa in his senior year.
