Ari Mayerfield, MD

Ari L. Mayerfield, MD, is a surgeon specializing in hand, upper extremity and microsurgery and Founder of NY Hand Associates. In addition to his position within the practice, he also serves as an assistant professor surgery at New York Medical College. Dr. Mayerfield completed his hand and upper extremity fellowship at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery. Dr. Mayerfield completed his fellowship at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery, where he performed approximately 700 hand and upper extremity cases. He completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he was awarded a Best Teacher distinction while serving as Chief Resident. Along with his extensive training, Dr. Mayerfield completed his medical degree at the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University and a post-baccalaureate pre-health program at Harvard University. He received his bachelor?s degree in policy analysis and management from Cornell University.

Daniel Seigerman, MD

Dr. Seigerman is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in the hand, wrist, and elbow. Dr. Seigerman earned his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY.  Immediately afterwards, he completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ, and followed with a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery right here at Rothman Orthopaedic Institute in Philadelphia.  Dr. Seigerman has completed extensive research in the field of orthopaedics with many publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work at numerous national meetings.  During his fellowship, he was honored with the “Fellow Research Award.”

Samir Sodha, MD

Dr. Sodha is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with a certificate of added qualification in hand surgery. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA and followed with a fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at the Harvard Program at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. He was named a Select Surgeon in Bone & Joint Surgery by New Jersey Monthly in 2020.
