Anais Carniciu, MD
Dr. Anaïs Carniciu is a board-certified and ASOPRS-certified oculofacial plastic surgeon. She graduated from Dartmouth College cum laude with undergraduate studies in biology and moral philosophy. Dr. Carniciu was awarded a prestigious Howard Hughes Medical Institute research scholarship while at Dartmouth. Dr. Carniciu then completed her residency training at Case Western Reserve University in ophthalmic surgery, where she served as Chief Resident. Following residency, Dr. Carniciu was selected for a highly competitive Fellowship in Oculofacial Plastic Surgery, sponsored by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). She trained in oculoplastics at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and at Consultants in Ophthalmic and Facial Plastic Surgery in Southfield, Michigan, one of the nation’s top oculofacial plastic surgery practices.
James Gordon, MD
Dr. James Gordon is a board-certified ophthalmologist who practices comprehensive ophthalmology and specializes in oculoplastic surgery (eyelid and facial cosmetic/reconstructive surgery). Dr. Gordon has over 14 years of extensive experience, which includes thousands of procedures including LASIK, non-stitch cataract surgery and many other laser and non-laser procedures.
Dr. Gordon obtained his undergraduate degree from Emory University and his medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine. Allen Greenbaum, MD
Dr. Allen Greenbaum is a board certified ophthalmologist who started in practice at Westchester Eye Associates in 1983. He graduated from Rutgers University as a Phi Beta Kappa member. He then received his medical degree from The Mount Sinai Hospital School of Medicine. Dr. Greenbaum performed his ophthalmology residency at The Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is on staff at White Plains Hospital where he has served as Chief of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Greenbaum specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology. He is an experienced refractive surgeon and has been performing laser refraction surgery since its approval by the FDA in the late 1990s. He also performs cataract surgery using standard and premium implant lenses. His experience in refractive surgery is useful in giving patients their preferred visual outcomes
Nitasha Gupta, MD
Dr. Gupta is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist and cataract surgeon. She attended Northwestern University where she was part of the Honors Program in Medical Education. She subsequently received her medical degree from Northwestern University and completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Chicago. In her final year of residency, she was honored to be selected to serve as Chief Resident and was recognized by the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science for excellence in patient care. She then completed a fellowship in glaucoma and anterior segment pathology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI.
Evelyn Icasiano, MD
Dr. Icasiano is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing a broad spectrum of comprehensive eye care with special interests in cataract surgery and laser vision correction refractive surgery. She graduated from Rutgers University. At Rutgers, she was awarded the Henry Rutgers Scholar Award after completing a senior research thesis in the biological sciences and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She then went on to earn her medical degree at the Chicago Medical School. Upon graduation she completed an internship in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital in New York followed by her residency training in ophthalmology at the Cook County Hospital in Chicago.
Following her residency training, she continued her training with a subspecialty fellowship in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. She is currently an adjunct attending physician at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Gennifer J. Greebel, M.D.
Dr. Greebel is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is an Assistant Attending at the Edward. S. Harkness Eye Institute of Columbia University where she teaches and lectures. She is on the staff of White Plains Medical Center and Stamford Hospital. She is a member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, the Greater New York Society for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, and the Westchester Ophthalmologic Society. She served on the Young Leadership Committee of the New York State Ophthalmological Society. She is an Assistant Chair for the Scientific Committee of the Costenbader Society.
Neil Katz, MD, FAAO
Dr. Neil Katz is a board certified ophthalmologist who has been in practice since 1992. He completed his ophthalmology residency at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and a pediatric ophthalmology fellowship at the University of Kentucky. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania where he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society and received his medical degree from New York University.
Dr. Katz practices general ophthalmology, seeing patients of all ages, however he has a specialized interest in pediatric ophthalmology. He performs cataract surgery, pediatric ophthalmic surgery including strabismus surgery and surgery on the tear duct system, laser surgery for many different ophthalmic conditions including glaucoma and diabetes, and pediatric contact lens fittings.
Dr. Katz is a member of the teaching faculty at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in Manhattan where he supervises residents in ophthalmic surgery.

Bradley Scharf, MD
Dr. Scharf graduated summa cum laude from Brooklyn College and received his medical degree from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. Mahsa Sohrab, MD
Mahsa A. Sohrab, MD, is a board-certified oculofacial plastic surgeon, serving patients in White Plains, New York. She completed her undergraduate studies in biological sciences at Columbia University. Her next step was a medical degree from the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, one of the nation’s top medical schools. Laura Tiedemann, MD
Dr. Laura Tiedemann is an ophthalmologist and oculoplastics surgeon. She attended Brown University, in which she completed a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with Honors. Dr. Tiedemann obtained her medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Smitha Voleti, MD
Dr. Smitha Voleti is a board-eligible, fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist. She graduated cum laude from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at the City College of New York and then earned her medical degree from New York Medical College as part of an accelerated medical training program. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Voleti completed a medical internship at Norwalk Hospital in Connecticut. She then returned to New York Medical College for her ophthalmology residency. During her training, she presented research studies at both regional and national ophthalmology conferences and was selected to serve as Chief Resident in her final year. Jing Grace Wang, D.O., Ph.D.
